"I was doing a lot of dumb shit in my life. Because I was so dumb, naiv and maybe because of my curiousity I met the wrong friends. After middle school I got deeper and deeper into this drug crap. My family and friends warned me over and over but I wouldn't listen. Today I regret this a lot. I spent precious teenage years in a youth detention center. The loneliness, isolation and 'cold turkeys' opened my eyes. I began to write songs which revived my ability to experience feelings again. In a sense music became my 'drug-replacement'. I am now clean again and intend to help others from becoming drug-addicts. I am deeply greatful to all who received me with open arms and who stuck to me, especially my family, my employer, Pastor Christian Anton, Mayor Albin Kaufmann. I am available for school visits, workshops, anti-drug-campaigns to report about my painful experiences and why taking drugs is crap. I am glad that my songs have found many fans already" Tobias Ulm
